LogMeOnce now offers Secure Link, a simple and highly secure way to share passwords, secure notes, credit card records, and files with anyone — even if they do not have a LogMeOnce account. Secure Link uses advanced cryptography and a one-device-only access system to ensure your shared content remains fully protected.
What Is Secure Link?
Secure Link allows you to generate a one-time, device-bound link to share a selected LogMeOnce resource. Only someone with the link can view the content, and it can be accessed on one device only. After the first access, the system cryptographically binds the secure content to that device, preventing it from being opened elsewhere — even if the link is forwarded.
Important: Secure Links can be opened freely within the owner’s own LogMeOnce session, and this does not bind the Secure Link to the owner’s device. This ensures maximum security for recipients while allowing owners to preview or manage shared content without restrictions.
Secure Link is ideal for securely sharing sensitive information through the communication channel of your choice, such as SMS, email, or WhatsApp.
What You Can Share
You can create a Secure Link for:
Passwords / Apps
Secure Notes
Credit Cards
Files stored in Secure Drive
How to Create a Secure Link

This opens the item’s context menu.Select “Share”
A submenu will appear.Choose “Share with anyone via Secure Link”
This will open the Secure Link configuration window.Set the “Expires In” option
Choose how long the Secure Link should remain valid. You can configure an expiration date or duration based on your needs.Click "Create" to generate the link
LogMeOnce will create a unique, secure URL.Copy and share the link
You can send it through any channel you prefer:Email
SMS
Messaging apps (WhatsApp, Signal, etc.)
How Recipients Access the Shared Content
The recipient simply clicks or taps the Secure Link you shared.
On first access, LogMeOnce automatically generates a cryptographic key pair on their device.
This binds the shared content to that device only, ensuring no one can reuse the link on another phone, browser, or computer.
If the link is opened on a second device, access will be denied.
When the resource expires, the Secure Link is removed by the owner, or the link is opened on a device other than the one originally used, LogMeOnce will display an “Unavailable Information” page.
Managing Secure Links in the Sharing Center
All Secure Links can be viewed, updated, or deleted from the Sharing Center. From here, you can:
Change the expiration date
Adjust permissions
Remove the Secure Link at any time
Available Permissions
Each Secure Link includes a set of permissions that you can configure depending on the type of resource being shared.
For Apps
You can enable or disable any of the following:
Allow to view password
Allow to view application note
Allow to view files
Allow to modify
Allow to delete
For Secure Notes and Credit Cards
Allow to modify
Allow to delete
These options give you precise control over what recipients can do with the shared resource and allow you to update access settings even after the Secure Link has been created.
