With LogMeOnce, you can securely autofill your usernames, passwords directly into websites and apps on your Android device — no more copying and pasting.

In order to autofill usernames and passwords on your Android device, you need to enable it in LogMeOnce app first. LogMeOnce will automatically integrate with websites and Android apps login process.

Enable Autofill

Follow the steps below to enable Autofill and make logging in effortless.

1. Open the LogMeOnce app.

2. Go to Menu -> Settings -> Autofill

3. Tap Enable Autofill to allow autofill username and passwords

4. The system will open your device’s Autofill service settings.

5. Select LogMeOnce as your preferred autofill service.

Once enabled, LogMeOnce will securely fill in your saved credentials across Android apps and websites.

Choose Your Autofill Appearance

You can customize how LogMeOnce appears when offering to fill your credentials:

  • Display as popup - This option will show a popup over the field

  • Display inside keyboard - This option will show horizontal bar inside your keyboard. This option is only available in Android 11 and higher and requires compatible IME (input method editor)

Enable Autofill in Chrome Browser

This option is visible only if you have running Chrome browser with version 135 or newer.

1. Make sure Chrome is updated to the latest version.

2. Go to LogMeOnce ▸ Settings ▸ Autofill ▸ Enable Autofill for Chrome.

3. This opens Chrome’s Autofill Service settings.

4. Change the setting from Autofill using Google to Autofill using another service and select LogMeOnce.

5. Chrome will restart, and LogMeOnce will now autofill your credentials in Chrome.

Use Passwords and Passkeys (Android 14+)

On Android 14 or newer, LogMeOnce integrates with the Android Credential Manager, allowing you to use and store passkeys as well as passwords with LogMeOnce.

  • If LogMeOnce is set as your autofill provider, this is enabled by default.
  • If you use another autofill provider, you can still enable this so LogMeOnce can:
    • Fill your saved passkeys
    • Save new passkeys when they are created

Create a passkey

When new passkey is created on website or Android app system will prompt dialog:

Tap Create to store it securely in LogMeOnce.

Login with Passkey

Once a passkey is saved in LogMeOnce:

1. Go to the login page of the website or app.

2. Android will show a system prompt to “Choose a save passkey and Sign in with LogMeOnce.”

3. Tap your saved passkey to log in — no username or password needed.
